The ISTITUTO COMPRENSIVO STATALE 3 “SAN BERNARDINO – BORGO TRENTO” is a state educational institution, composed of a kindergarten school, three primary schools, a middle school and a permanent territorial center for adult education. It is a place of training and education by means of study, acquisition of knowledge and the development of critical consciousness.

  • The school is a community based on dialogue, research and social experiences, guided by democratic values and aimed at the development of the person in all its dimensions.

  • In it each one, with equal dignity and in a diversity of roles, works to ensure the formation of citizenship, the realization of the right to education, the development of the potential of each and the recovery of disadvantage, in keeping with the principles enshrined in the Constitution and the Convention on the rights of the Child signed in New York on 20 November 1989, and with the general principles of the Italian system.
  • The school community, interacting with the wider community and civil society, bases its project and its educational activity on the quality of teacher-student relationships, contributes to the development of the personality of young people, including their sense of responsibility and pursues the achievement of objectives appropriate to the changing cultural and professional knowledge and integration into working life.
  • The life of the school community is based on freedom of expression, thought, conscience and religion, on mutual respect of all the people who make it up, whatever their age or condition, rejecting all ideological barrier, social and cultural

VET activities

  • The school, participate in mathematical competitions to enhance the skill of our best students in the area of logic and reasoning such as: “The Galiei cup” and “The Math games “ of Bocconi University

  • It also organizes music activities aiming to develop the talent inherent in each student but especially to enhance the talent emerging in the gifted youngsters. Every year the activity of the teacher of music is brought outside the school through various shows

  • The school arranges an art workshop for students that are particularly interested and gifted

  • A year-long theater course, led by a professional actress, addressed to students particularly talented in the art of theatrical dramatization

A.I. LA GALERIA is a regional NGO, non - for - profit, based in Murcia Region (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murcia_Region) located in the South East coast of Spain, in the Mediterranean area. A.I. LA GALERIA works in this Region since 1994, date of foundation, initially as Regional School for Leisure and Outdoor Time Activities, recognized by the Murcia Regional Government, accreditating and qualifiying Outdoor and Time Activities Camp Directors and Trainers.

During last years, A.I. LA GALERIA has developed a career in the fields of culture, education, employment, gender and non formal learning training activities.

A.I. LA GALERIA has supported municipalities within the LEADER+ financing as technical assistance and performing cultural heritage and cultural environmental values projects.

Since 2011, A.I. LA GALERIA is involved in EU financed programmes in the field of education, youth, gender and social affairs.

A.I. LA GALERIA is member of the Spanish National Network for the ANNA LINDH FOUNDATION.

During its whole existance, A.I. LA GALERIA is supported and audited by the following organizations:

•Regional Government of Murcia, because of the Regional School.

REFLECTIVE LEARNING-INTERNATIONAL (RL-INT) is currently the global leader in developing strategies for strengthening and improving the lives and livelihoods of children, families, communities and organisations, through strength-based reflective practices. RL-INT is a multi-disciplinary group of highly qualified researchers and work-based practitioners who draw on the disciplines of positive psychology, cognitive psychology, social-psychology, health, international development, child protection and human rights.  It runs practical workshops and seminars for professional practitioners, organises international conferences, participates in funded EU projects and runs the prestigious international peer reviewed journal called, ‘Reflective Practice’ published six times a year, by Routledge Taylor and Francis, Oxford, England. RL-INT has its own publishing house called New Vista publications which helps deliver its commitment to knowledge sharing.

RL-INT has an international reputation and eclectic portfolio of projects and work with different partners and places. For the last 8 years RL-INT has been working in the areas of Eastern Europe and East Africa increasing citizen agency through participatory approaches to development.  EDUcentrum is a non-profit organization, whose aim is to support unconventional and innovative forms of education, foster motivation for lifelong learning, increase adaptability and promote active attitude towards further education across various age, social and professional target groups. Hence the main activities comprise implementation of innovative methodologies, use of ICT in education, creation of tools for distance and blended learning, creation of materials for trainers and learners, creation of didactic tools to facilitate application of new methodologies or creation of testing and comparative tools for progress evaluation. Among members of EDUcentrum there are experienced methodologists, trainers and project managers who have been involved in a wide range of projects funded by the ESF and LL

VET activities

 In cooperation with Slovakia and Austria, EDUcentrum implemented a two year project "ECVET Tour II" which supported mobility of vocational schools´ students with focus on professions of cook and receptionist.

Trakia University – Stara Zagora, Bulgaria  is an autonomous state institution. It was founded in 1995. The structure of the university includes 6 faculties - Faculty of Agriculture; Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; Faculty of Medicine; Faculty of Education, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Technics and Technologies, Medical College and Department for Information and In-Service Teacher Training (DITT). The University performs education along programmes with four educational and qualification degrees – professional bachelor, bachelor, master and PhD, as well as programmes for qualification and post-graduation specialization in the system of lifelong education. The teaching staff includes 227 professors and associated professors and 419 non-academically ranked teachers. The university teaches more than 6000 students. The Faculty of Education is one of the main units of Trakia University. The academic staff of the faculty includes: full professors, associate professors, assistant professors and tutors who work in 3 departments. The faculty teaches more than 1100 regular and distance-learning students in the accredited professional branch Pedagogy, specialties: social pedagogy, special pedagogy, pre-school and primary school pedagogy with a foreign language.

VET activities

 The Department for Information and In-service Teacher Training (DIITT) is an autonomous part of Trakia University. Its activities include: improving the qualification of teachers and administrative staff in the area of education; scientific development; participation in training of students from subjects and majors taught in Trakia University. Both the Faculty of Education and the Department implement different types of qualifications, courses and trainings of teachers at all levels of education.

National Regions Development Agency (NRDA), operating since 1999, has extensive experience in formulating regional development policies, through various interventions. The Agency gives priority to regional development, strategic management and promotion of small and medium-sized Lithuanian business sustainable development problem region development problem and employment. Since 2001 NRPA is member of for Economic Cooperation and Development Organization (OECD), Local Economic and Employment Development Programme (LEED) affiliate club. Since 2001 NRPA is partner of Baltic Sea Regional Development Agencies Association (BARDI). Since 2001 NRPA is an associate member of the European Association of Regional Development Agencies (EURADA).

Since 2001 NRDA has been successfully carrying out its activities and has implemented and participated in about 50 national and international projects in various areas: social, educational, business development, etc.

The main objectives of PI National Regions‘ Development Agency, are:

  • To influence the national economic and social development policy initiatives execution in the regions;

  • To promote building of infrastructure compliant to social, economic and environmental demands;

  • To promote reduction of regional differences in life, culture, education levels;

  • To participate in supporting the economic and social development of Lithuanian regions, to develop long-term development programs. This includes addressing gaps in learning and skills of people working in various sectors and the role of vocational learning to support entrepreneurial activities.

In order to achieve the objectives, the agency sets itself the following major challenges:

  • To participate in implementing of regional development policy;

  • To participate in supporting the economic and social development policy initiatives implementation in the regions;

  • To inform the public about regional development, creating a positive image of Lithuania’s development.

Project title: DEVELOPMENT AND INTRODUCTION OF THE SYSTEM ENHANCING THE TECHNOLOGICAL COMPETENCIES OF VOCATIONAL TEACHERS AND LECTURERS” (SFMIS NR.VP1-2.2-ŠMM-02-V-02-001)

Project duration: August 2010 – August 2013

Project description: Provide vocational teachers and college lecturers with technological competencies enabling them to work at the new (sectorial practical training centres) base and help them acquire technological competencies; provide the teachers with conditions to enable them to constantly enhance their competencies with respect to the continuous development of technologies.

Results: • Development of the model for enhancing technological competences (including the established professional development system and its elements, funding opportunities, measures guaranteeing its operation, etc.)
